Mercurio Partners acted as advisor for Golar Power and its subsidiary Celba in the auction strategy and regulatory expertise for the UTE Novo Tempo Barcarena project, located in Barcarena (PA), winner of the 2019 A-6 energy auction. $2 billion, the thermoelectric plant has 605MW of installed capacity.

The project had a very competitive Cost Benefit Index (ICB), which represents a benefit to the system and the consumer, consolidating the LNG business model as a viable option in a natural gas scenario with greater supply liquidity.
